Quelle recession? Apparently, with the demand for croc-skin Hermès bags refusing to slow down, the iconic French company has taken to breeding its own crocodiles. According to the company’s chief executive, Patrick Thomas, “It can take three to four crocodiles to make one of our bags, so we are now breeding our own crocodiles on our own farms, mainly in Australia.” Considering they produce 3,000 crocodile bags a year, we can’t help but wonder how many are currently being bred…
